Talent and industry
A large education and engineering base, plus banking, healthcare, manufacturing, energy, logistics and export businesses already operating on the coast.
Building practical technology capability for a growing coastal innovation ecosystem.
Mangaluru is emerging as India’s Silicon Beach, a technology and innovation ecosystem connecting Mangaluru, Udupi and the wider coastal Karnataka region. The vision brings together startups, Global Capability Centres, educational institutions, established industry, digital infrastructure and technology talent.
Northstar Enterprise Solutions is based in Mangaluru and supports this direction by building practical technology capabilities for businesses, institutions and emerging infrastructure projects. Our work spans AI-powered automation, custom software, enterprise IT, secure infrastructure, connected operations and industrial IoT.
A successful Silicon Beach ecosystem will not be created only through large buildings or announcements. It will be built through reliable technology delivery, skilled teams, secure digital systems, useful software, capable local partners and customer-ready operations.
Enabling layers
Mangaluru has a base to grow from. The larger digital-infrastructure pieces are still a vision, not finished operating assets.
A large education and engineering base, plus banking, healthcare, manufacturing, energy, logistics and export businesses already operating on the coast.
Port, airport and coastal connectivity, with a working link to Bengaluru and the wider Karnataka technology ecosystem.
Public reporting on the cluster includes goals for technology exports, jobs, startups, GCCs, centres of excellence, data centres and cable landing stations. Those last two are proposed initiatives, including feasibility work and a search for an investor. They are not operating infrastructure today.
Northstar is building services relevant to GCCs, startups and digital-infrastructure growth. We are not the developer of a cable landing station or a Mangaluru data centre.
Data-centre capacity, diverse fibre and cable landing stations can matter to a connected ecosystem. They also need power, fibre diversity, cooling, security, land, approvals, anchor customers and experienced operators.
Northstar is interested in contributing through technology planning, enterprise infrastructure experience, AI-ready systems and partner-led feasibility work. These are long-term, multi-party projects. A cable landing station in Mangaluru remains under feasibility and investor discussion. It is not an operational facility, and Northstar is not its developer.
We are exploring phased, partner-led AI-ready data-centre and digital-infrastructure opportunities. That is an interest, not an appointment, an MoU, or a claim that a facility is already running.
The objective is a measurable change: faster processes, better use of data, less manual effort, more reliable recovery, and systems that stay documented after go-live.
That approach combines current AI and software engineering with enterprise infrastructure experience in servers, storage, backup, networking, remote administration and critical support. Read the founder profile or see how an engagement runs.
Northstar is based in Mangaluru, Karnataka, and works across coastal Karnataka, India, and remotely with global clients.

India’s Silicon Beach is the name used for the technology and innovation ecosystem connecting Mangaluru, Udupi and the wider coastal Karnataka region. It is a regional direction for startups, Global Capability Centres, education, industry and digital infrastructure. It is not another name for Bengaluru, and it is not a single building or company.
Northstar is a Mangaluru company that delivers AI automation, custom software, enterprise IT, secure infrastructure, connected operations and industrial IoT. That is the practical layer businesses, institutions and emerging projects need before and alongside larger developments.
No. Northstar does not operate a Mangaluru data centre or a cable landing station, and we are not building either one. Public reporting treats data centres and a cable landing station as proposed or feasibility-stage regional initiatives, including a search for an investor. Northstar’s interest is partner-led planning and the technology capability those projects would need, after the technical, commercial and regulatory basics are validated.
Yes. We can run an AI automation proof of value, build an internal tool, assess cloud and infrastructure, and implement a scoped system. We are not a government agency, and we are not a formally appointed partner of KDEM or any public infrastructure project unless that is stated in writing.
If you are a business, GCC, startup, industrial operator, institution, investor or ecosystem partner looking at technology in Mangaluru’s Silicon Beach, start with an assessment, a pilot, an architecture or an implementation plan.
