A practical architecture, not a shelf of options
Capacity, server/storage/network design and a refresh or new-build plan you can approve. Includes hybrid and cloud planning where it is justified.
Northstar is a pioneer in mission-critical environments. Planning, upgrades, troubleshooting, security and performance tuning for enterprise IT teams, hospitals, manufacturers and multi-site operations in Mangaluru, across India and for global clients. Includes backup design, archival retention and tested retrieval.
Businesses depend on servers, backups, networks and remote access but often lack clear ownership, documentation, resilience and security.
We start with what is already running. The work is hands-on enterprise support, not a generic "IT services" list and not a data-centre brochure. Ongoing cover uses the same contract clocks as a global server, storage and networking deployment centre. See the contract list.
Northstar’s infrastructure approach is informed by hands-on experience across enterprise server, storage, backup, networking and remote-management environments associated with IBM, HP/Hewlett-Packard and EMC technologies. That experience is applied to assessments, modernisation, backup and recovery, secure remote operations, documentation and implementation. These names describe a professional background. They are not Northstar customers, partners or current affiliations.

Capacity, server/storage/network design and a refresh or new-build plan you can approve. Includes hybrid and cloud planning where it is justified.
Server, storage, network, Wi-Fi, firewall and access-control upgrades. Hybrid or cloud moves are scoped before anyone unplugs production.
Unstable systems, failed hardware, BIOS and firmware issues, IPMI/IMM and other management controllers, and secure remote administration when the site is not next door.
Bottlenecks in compute, storage paths and network configuration that slow applications or backups. Tuning is written down so the next change does not undo it.
Access control, backup jobs, off-site copies and disaster recovery planning. We document what is protected, how long data is kept, and how to retrieve a file, mailbox or full system when someone asks.
HPE and other enterprise servers and storage, BIOS, IPMI/IMM, networking and remote administration. We do not list partner badges we cannot prove.
Choose the review when you need a written picture and a sequence. Choose enterprise support when a system is failing, an upgrade is approved, or you need a named engineer on servers, storage or networks.
After the first fix, Managed IT is the path for monitoring and a defined response.
Servers, backups, network, remote access and documentation, a defined assessment.

Request Enterprise IT SupportThese are the support agreements Northstar writes for server, storage and networking estates. Response means we start. Break/fix means reactive repair of a failed part. Call-to-repair means the covered hardware is back in operation. On-site clocks apply where travel and parts make that window real. Remote response can run 24x7 for contracted clients in India and overseas.
A technical engineer responds within 2 hours of a logged incident, 24x7. Used for remote triage on servers, storage and networks.
On-site or remote response within 4 hours, 24x7. The clock starts when the call is logged and stops when work begins or the case is closed remotely.
On-site or remote response within 8 hours, 24x7. For estates that need a same-shift start without a 4-hour commitment.
Response on the next business day during corporate office hours, Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00 IST. Sales and routine service use this window.
Reactive repair of a failed server, storage or network component. Diagnosis and repair start within 4 hours. This is a fix window, not a restoration guarantee.
The same reactive repair, with work starting within 8 hours of the logged fault.
For a critical incident, covered hardware is returned to operation within 6 hours where parts, access and travel allow. The agreement names the sites this clock can cover.
Covered hardware is returned to operation within 24 hours. Used when a 6-hour restoration is not practical for the site.
A failed networking unit or other field-replaceable part is exchanged within 4 hours, 24x7.
The replacement part or unit is exchanged on the next business day.
Defective media retention can be added so failed disks stay with you. A contract covers named systems and sites. It is not an open promise for every caller.
A defined assessment of servers, backups, archival posture, network, remote access and documentation. You receive a written view of what is running, the risks that matter and a recommended sequence of work.
When something is already failing, a refresh is approved, or you need hands-on planning, upgrades, troubleshooting, security or performance tuning, not only a review.
Yes. Delivery includes enterprise servers and storage, BIOS and firmware, IPMI/IMM and other management controllers, networking and remote administration.
No. This page is the project and break/fix work. Ongoing monitoring and a defined response sit on the Managed IT page after the estate is understood.
Yes for local clients. Contracted technical support, including remote troubleshooting, is 24x7 with a 4-hour, 8-hour or 1-day SLA. Next-business-day on-site service is handled during corporate office hours, Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00 IST, unless a faster on-site target is in the contract.
Yes. Implementation and troubleshooting for contracted clients run 24x7, so teams outside India are not limited to the Mangaluru office clock. Sales and next-business-day coordination stay on Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00 IST.
Yes. We design backup and retention for servers, VMs and file data, align archival with how long you must keep records, and run restore tests so retrieval is proven before an incident.
